Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, et.al., who have even the possibility of running against POTUS in 2020, are being systematically legally challenged by our current government.
Even if they are not convicted it further dirties their reputations (if that’s even possible).
That makes it more difficult to mount a successful campaign against him.
