If every leader of every country in the world went on their tv and told Americans to vote for candidate x, it is not illegal.
However, if our candidate X paid for such a thing, we have problems. Even if X ended up losing. But show me where Trump paid Putin in order to help him win. Trump would never do such a thing and it didn’t happen, and Putin didn’t help Trump win.
