HISTORY OF EUGENICS In 1907, the eugenics Education Society was founded in Britain to campaign for sterilisation and marriage restrictions for the weak to prevent the degeneration of Britain's population. In 1931, Labour MP Archibald Church proposed a bill for the compulsory sterilisation of certain categories of 'mental patient' in Parliament. Meanwhile from 1907 in the United States, men, women and children who were deemed 'insane, idiotic, imbecile, feebleminded or epileptic' were forcibly sterilised, often without being informed of what was being done to them. By 1938, 33 American states permitted the forced sterilisation of women with learning disabilities and 29 American states had passed compulsory sterilisation laws covering people who were thought to have genetic conditions. All legislation was eventually repealed in the 1940s.

Other than that, it is a fascinating and disturbing look back at what we are capable of justifying in the name of science and the "common good".
Planned Parenthood is a leading eugenics organization.
It was settled science.
Anyone against it was a science denier.
This was about Marie Stopes.
That would be Margarette Sanger. The evil, racist bitch.
Whom they still defend, and whose values they still promote and practice.
She inspired Hitler.
Yes, no different from the people running her organization today.
Bkmrk.
Eugenics in the early portion of the 1900’s was the Global Warming Fad of its day.
And it is still around, just named something other than “Eugenics” now.
Margaret Sanger and Marie Stopes (her British counterpart) not only wanted to sterilize people for small, readily correctable defects (cleft lip, deformed outer ear) or preventable/treatable diseases (tuberculosis), they wanted to eliminate whole races and nations.
Asians: Inferior!
Jews: Inferior!
Blacks: Inferior!
Settled science!
(Or rather, a veterinary approach to human the human race.)
other nations didn’t bother with sterilization. They just put them on an iceberg or set them out on the savannah and let nature deal with it.
Adolph himself was inspired heavily by the American eugenics movement. He imported it wholesale and was so close to their thinking, that he literally ruined it for the postwar world.
That’s how closely associated to their thinking he was. Anyone postwar doing the same 1920s stuff would be seen as Nazi in their thinking.
