I gotta tell you a funny story, back then I met this gal at the FT Meade O Club whom I thought was a stewardess. She rode back to Dundalk with me and at 4 AM decided she wanted a ride back to Meade. I drove her on post, then she directed me through the field grade quarters to the flag officer area. Turns out her Daddy was a 3 star AF LTG. She gets out of my vette and gets dad up. Yells-”Dad you got to met my Green Beret Captain .” I felt so low and dumb, I just waved, then I drove slow off post, and; I never went back to Meade period.
A guy could do better than hooking up with a 3-star’s daughter. But you’d have to treat her right.
