The only thing I can see is going after the wife. She claims to have known nothing, which is hard for many to believe.
Proving she had knowledge though would be difficult.

2. Investigate his extensive target practice near his home in Illinois shortly before he left his wife and home to travel to the DC area and spend several months there.
3. Develop a time line of his activities over the past year.
4. Develop a detailed time line of all his activities since he arrived in the DC area.
5. Determine why he was surveilling the baseball practice field and several other locations.
6. Review all his on line contacts.
7. Investigate his on line contacts and connections, the groups he belonged to and the several hundred people who liked him on Facebook.
8. Investigate his role in the Sanders campaign and his many contacts during that campaign.
9. Investigate his role in the “Occupy” movement and his contacts from that movement.
10. Investigate his wife and her activities and contacts.
11. Determine how he was able to choose the baseball practice when many influential Republican lawmakers would be together in public with minimal security for his assassination attempt.
12. Investigate the unusual and highly suspect relationship with his child and foster child. One ran away from home. The other supposedly poured gasoline all over herself and set herself on fire. Investigate what really happened.
