New York must feel they need a law prohibiting gas nozzles latching because New Yorkers may be stupid enough to walk off and leave the pump unattended during fueling.
Maybe he could move to New Jersey where it is the law that an attendant must pump your gas for you.
Isn’t he referring to the latches on pumps that automatically shut off when the tank is full?
If the cutoff does not work, gasoline will go flying all over the place when the tank is filled.
