Even in the 7th grade I would have told the “Teacher” to shove it where the sun don’t shine.
Kids must be different now. My mom and grandparents taught me...always be respectful but don’t let anyone force you to do something you don’t think is right. Stand up for yourself.
I would have never let a teacher force me to do something like this. If nothing else I would have just gotten up and walked out.
