A conspiracy is two or more people CONSPIRING to achieve a GOAL.
conspiracy definition:
a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.
the action of plotting or conspiring.
So all a conspiracy theory is that someone may have committed a conspiracy and you have an idea based off what you know that this is the case.
But the Phrase “Conspiracy Theory” has been Maligned for the last 50-60 years... seemingly it started sometime after the JFK assassination.
