You got that one right. The far lefties are often seriously lacking in character.

For example (I promise this is true):

I live across the street from a lefty dem member of the Ohio house (currently former member, but only because of a new term limit law in Ohio: She'll be back in after she sits out the 2 yr term). I own a small dump truck ('94 f-350 w/ commercial type dump bed and auto trans) that this lady would sometimes want to borrow to get a load of sawdust for her horse stables. We don't (of course) use the truck as a daily driver. It wasn't until a week or so after the last time she used it that my 15 yo son noticed that the shifter mechanism was broken.

At the time, I didn't absolutely know that she did it. One of my kids or kids friends could have been messing around and done it and been afraid to admit it to me. However, that was months ago, she hasn't ever spoken to me since then and she hasn't asked to borrow the truck (a load of sawdust would normally last her about 6 weeks). It is obvious that she did it.

I can't imagine a mature adult with a stable, upper middle class income failing to take responsibility like this. I know I would spend quite a bit of money to not carry that type of shame for being such a lowlife; ergo, the woman has no shame. It probably isn't an expensive repair (I don't know because I didn't fix it: I just reach under the dashboard and move the shifting cable by hand). If you can't tell the truth about small stuff, you aren't gonna be honest about things that actually matter.

I forgot to mention: she's stupid, too. She was saving a lot of money by buying sawdust at the sawmill instead of bagged sawdust at the feedstore. Just doing the right thing and paying to repair the truck would save her money over time. We all have triple A, they would have towed it to the transmission place for free.
