“elder Republican statesmen”
AKA the same guys who screwed up so badly we ended up with Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Well, it beats paying the money to the UN.

Trump has expressed doubt over the existence of climate change and has said efforts to fight it put the United States at a competitive disadvantage. And he's right on both counts.

Very generous of them to offer my money for the cause. I propose a “Republican Elders’ and Oil Executives’” tax plan. They can match the total of what they want others to pay dollar for dollar. And they can do it first. It’s for the children.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
revenues would be paid into the Social Security Administration. While I hate the idea of a new fake tax on carbon at least the revenue is not going to the turd world or the UN.

The Carbon Tax kneecaps startup energy companies.
It’s the only reason old-guard Pubbies and the Fortune 500 would unite to support it.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Major oil companies like Exxon Mobil and BP Plc have thrown their support behind a carbon tax plan proposed by a group of elder Republican statesmen, according to an advertisement published in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.Looks like this group of elder Republican statesmen are looking to enrich themselves on the back of the climate change hoax. Of course they are pretending that they are doing it for you. What a deal!

How did all those other taxes for SSI end up going wherever the hell the libs wanted? This is a scam. It will enrich the already rich.

How would money funneled in to the SSA effect "climate change" exactly?

Nothing by James Baker deserves the light of day let alone serious consideration.

How far James Baker has come from his days when he played footsie with Saudi plungers — including the Bin Ladens — who used Houston as their playtoy.
