Stats from California:
Al Gore received 5.86 million votes in 2000. Obama received 8.27 million votes in 2008. A net gain of 2.41 million votes in 8 years. McCain received 5.01 million votes,a net gain of just under 500,000 votes from Bush in 2000 (and 500,000 less than what Bush got in 2004).
The only way out of this now??? If everyone either stopped paying taxes or quit their jobs. Since neither will happen, we’re all screwed....
