It was reported a refrigerator blew up. In GB newer refrigerators are charged with iso-butane a highly flammable gas as the refrigerant. One small leak with some ignition source and excitement ensues. This was an eco-nut caused disaster all the way around.

Here in the USA, modern refrigerators use something akin to R-134a or R421, which are not the extremely flammable iso-butane (aka a derivative of lighter fluid!).

But getting back on topic, sounds like another "home grown Amish" (if you get my gist) at it again....
