You’re being very generous.

No sir, I'm just trying to be objective and completely straight with that I saw.

Wallace asked if Trump thought “Rosenstein has done anything wrong.” Sekulow answered, then went on with his “constitutional threshold question” hypothesis which includes the assumption of Trump being “under investigation.”

And herein lies the problem. Let's assume that's exactly that Sekulow did. The transition to identifying the Constitutional threshold question and then answering was non existent. Sekulow went on to answer the question without stating what the threshold was and setting the Constitutional context.

At that point I agree with your observation that Chris Wallace literally became unhinged seizing on Sekulow's "under investigation" statement without understanding what it was Sekulow was doing in answering the Constitutional threshold question.

Here's exactly where Sekulow and Wallace were on completely different wavelengths and talking past each other.

Now, watching Sekulow on the other talking head shows he clearly set the context of of his answer which he didn't do on Fox News Sunday. I attribute that to Wallace acting like a liberal attack dog. Still, the burden of setting the context of his answer was on Sekulow, not Wallace. BTW at the end of the interview, Chris Wallace acknowledged that he and Jay Sekulow weren't on the same wavelength for (presumably) most of the interview. Boy were they ever.

That interview was as f'ed up as an interview with two people talking past each other as I've ever seen.

I agree on both counts. Sekulow was much more succinct on the other shows.

OTOH had Wallace given Sekulow the chance, he may have been able to put a bow on his point. It appeared to me any confusion was all on Wallace’s side. When he couldn’t rattle Sekulow, he lost his place on his script, repeated questions and made every other Sunday show appear less biased and more professional.
