“I’m not saying that Creationists are wrong about everything but I am worried that they’re so caught up in meaningless details that they’re missing the very simple gift of salvation which comes by faith in Christ alone.”

You only seem to troll creationist threads trying to start arguments, rather than showing any concern that people are missing out on salvation.

Do you think someone can’t be a literalist and be saved? Do you think we can’t both question evolution and be saved? If the answer to those question isn’t “yes”, then what cause do you really have to be concerned with the state of salvation of people on these threads, rather than, say the state of salvation of people who post on gun threads, or post on sports threads, etc? Why the special obsession with creationists?

“Why the special obsession with creationists?”

Because they so closely resemble global warming fanatics with their tortured thinking, deliberate blindness to the reality that surrounds them, and circular logic.

In addition to this is their propensity towards putting God in a proverbial box and then making that box a condition of their faith.

I often ask the question: “If evolution and the Big Bang became proven facts just like the fact that the earth is not the center of the universe would you still believe in God?”

The correct answer is “Yes” and it never fails to amaze me the mental gymnastics that Creationists will go through to avoid a direct answer to the question.

What’s your answer?
