Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel examining Russias meddling in the 2016 election, has requested interviews with three high-ranking current or former intelligence officials, the latest indication that he will investigate whether President Trump obstructed justice, a person briefed on the investigation said on Wednesday.
Mr. Mueller wants to question Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence; Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the head of the National Security Agency; and Richard Ledgett, the former N.S.A. deputy director.
None of the men were involved with Mr. Trumps campaign. But recent news reports have raised questions about whether Mr. Trump requested their help in trying to get James B. Comey, then the F.B.I. director, to end an investigation into the presidents former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn. Last week, Mr. Coats and Admiral Rogers declined to answer questions before Congress about the matter.
Mr. Muellers office has also asked the N.S.A. for any documents or notes related to the agencys interactions with the White House as part of the Russia investigation, according to an intelligence official.

Mueller and his ilk are definitely in the domestic enemies category.
New York Times = deep state. This is the deep state trying to poke Trump with a stick to see if he will jump up and bite.
Remember to keep the pressure on Trump until all the stuff about Hillary dies down.
Obama’s “intelligence officials” or AMERICANS who work for one of the intelligence agencies? Mueller is picking up where Comey left off with the destruction of the Trump administration.
Fire him. He’s dirty, has a major conflict of interest.
How did Trump obstruct justice if there was no ongoing investigation(per JAMES COMEY).
This is just a nightmare.
The Russki BS didn’t work out so now they are going to gin up an “obstruction” charge. Sick bastards.
But, a lot of people think he is squeaky clean.
EXCLUSIVE: DOJ Brass Says Comey Struck Insider Immunity Deal With Mueller To Avoid Criminal Charges
He has a clear conflict of interest. It’s not should he step down, he has to....and the worthless GOP leadership better have a “come to Jesus moment” & demand him to comply with the law. Getting shot at in the streets of D.C. should give them an idea that it’s time to stand up.
Do these power hungry glory hound political hack “special council” every back off and admit nothing happened? Nope, they keep taking OUR money to find something...anything to nail the big fish.
This has to end and if the Republicans in the house and senate don’t step up to the plate good luck in your “safe” seat come election time.
Nah the uni-party is all their lazy ass glory trying to take down Trump.
One of these days, one of these stories will be a “leaker trap”. When that day comes I’m gonna mlao.
*ever
MICHAEL S. SCHMIDT
Isn’t this the “Leaker’s” conduit?
It is unbelievable. It is The Deep State. They are all pals together. They are all Democrats it seems. Trump may not have done a single thing wrong but if ever someone has put their head in the noose and said “Kick the stool away” this is it.
And it’s quite possible he doesn’t believe any of it and wants to see all this “Hard evidence” that none of the three agencies have been able to provide to anyone. Just saying
Looks like a tag team match.
Well Gingrich was saying that and I assumed that he had better information than the rest of us.
Apparently not because he’s changed his tune and now points out that Comey and Mueller are long time friends, and Comey played a major role in getting Mueller assigned as special prosecutor. This is a huge conflict of interest.
More likely he wants to review all his recorded emails, phone calls, and text messages the NSA has on him, his wife, his kids, and pals before he can do anything else.
