They remind me of the worst of the hardcore semi-retarded types I knew in South Carolina back in the fifties. Anything they might do was somehow alright but anything they did not agree with was wrong, regardless of what it might be.
I know the type you speak of. I too had experiences with levels of ignorance that were off the known charts of civilization; mostly in the deep South but not always. :D
