Sessions should actually do his job and quickly find out who is leaking. If his recusal prevents him from doing that, then he should resign, so Trump can place someone in the office who can do the job.
I don’t care what Justice Department rules say. Sessions knew the charge was a hoax that was designed to sideline him, but he went right along with it. He is playing boy scout while the democrats play MS-13.

Its latest hit piece runs a quote from, “a former senior U.S. official who is close to current administration officials.” That’s an anonymous source quoting hearsay from other anonymous sources.

Last week, the Washington Post unveiled a story based on “the private accounts of more than 30 officials at the White House.” The fake news story falsely claimed that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein threatened to resign.
Rod had a simple answer when asked about that piece of fake news. “No.”

The Washington Post’s “Trump fired Comey because he’s taller”
Obstruction of Justice is easier to fabricate than Russian Agent.
He said, he said.
He may have said “hope”. You know, like Hope and Change.
Hope isn’t Obstruction, but calling a Criminal Investigation a “matter” might be.
Can’t control his people? or is he specifying what to leak? Mueller is not on our side and he is not impartial. He is a swamp creature and is a long term partner with the swamp snake Comey.
If this is about what Comey said that Trump said, then Comey needs to be charged with 18USC4 for not reporting this “obstruction of justice”.
It may or may not be fake news, but, in all honesty the only way to clear all this bullshit and shut everyone up is to investigate it and then find nothing.
The Justice Department needs to be thoroughly cleaned out, or rather, should have been cleaned out in the first two weeks. It is full of snakes all the way up to Rothstein.
Two unnamed sources - I’ve got two unnamed sources here who are saying Mueller is in cahoots with the DNC to take down Trump - that’s what your two unnamed sources are worth....
That doesn't mean Trump can't start cutting off some arms and legs at the DOJ to get get rid of the rotten apples to try and squeeze Mueller out via the backdoor.
And as for Sessions, he is a big disappointment. Too much from the old, staid Senatorial types. Not aggressive at all. Not a risk-taker like his boss. He and Trump are a mismatch.

But the “person close to the White House” who made the claim without using his or her name was contradicted by none other than Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein himself. The next day he said, “I’m not quitting” when asked by reporters. “No,” he said to the follow-up question of whether he had threatened to quit.

Washington Post claimed: “FBI Director James B. Comey requested more resources from the Justice Department for his bureau’s investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, according to two officials with knowledge of the discussion.”
Anonymous sources again had something very different to say from people whose comments were tied to their names, who all denied the report.

Washington Post claimed: “reports that Comey had requested more funding or other resources for the Russia investigation”
The next day under oath, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe repeatedly denied that the probe into Russia was undersourced or requiring any additional funds. [and/or other resources]

Each of these stories were explosive breaking news that served an anti-Trump narrative but later turned out to be false.
More hysteria to get another shooting going. POTUS wasn’t even under investigation and what is the crime he’s obstruction justice to help solve?
