Prepping will take one for a time but if one advertises they’re a prepper you will last far less than than those who keep it quiet. In survival mode it will be every an for himself.....

I know what you're saying. But it depends on where you live. And by that I mean literally in the city, suburbs, or rural communities. Three totally different frames of mind.

If you want to see what I mean, watch what the people did during a hurricane like Katrina.

City critters : went fetal waiting for the government to help.
Suburb dwellers: got up and left and made things happen.
country folk: band together and didn't have to do anything.

It's not the inner city critters you need to worry about, it's the suburbanites. That's who makes up the ranks of antifas too. They are used to being mobile, commuting, and leading. They are the ones that will be trying to take your stuff.

Country folk always ban together and help each other. We share with each other too. I know my neighbors and they know me. So for me, I'm not really worried about my self as much as I am for these people that live in tract neighborhoods. You know where their homes are 10ft apart. That's who needs to worry.

I am from the country...rural America.....and once had a log cabin on top of the surrounding mountains....so I am well familiar with the difference between city, suburbs, and rural since I’ve also lived in three major cities.

That said.....all people will steal and take whatever when it’s a matter of survival of their families....including their neighbors. That system also breaks down in time no matter how close.

You mentioning Katrina doesn’t sit well with me because so many in that after fall out were accustomed to being on the ‘generational’ welfare system....highly dependent on Government handouts......and always rage at the drop of a dime anyway.

Might better look at Japan when cities were completely destroyed......different culture mindset and far more self sufficient. There was very little looting and people did indeed stick together. We do not have that mindset in America today.......
