To prove it, ask Goldberg this... “You say that you know what 98% is. Then answer this: 724,122 people, or 98% of some number of people who were sampled, think Obama was a foreign born fraud who wasn’t even constitutionally qualified to be our president. How many people were sampled? You can use your calculator.”
Who thinks she could answer? If she knows what 98% is, she could guess the answer and get pretty close. But if I’m right, and she doesn’t know what 98% means, she couldn’t get close guessing, and she couldn’t calculate it with her calculator either. In other words, when she says 98% of the news stories about Trump were favorable, she has no idea what she’s talking about. Hence, the absurdity of the claim.
