Comedy of errors but not even a little bit funny.
AG Sessions was too quick to recuse himself and someone else in the Justice Dept. (who?) was quick to appoint a Special Counsel. And the Special Counsel just happens to also be the special friend of the turncoat FBI Director fired by President Trump.
There never should have been a Special Counsel appointed to begin with.
Who made the decision to do so?
It sounds as if neither President Trump or AG Sessions had any input.
More and more it appears that the movement toward a Special Counsel was totally scripted from the get-go by Trump enemies within the Justice Department who were in cahoots with Comey and others who want to bring Trump down.
Comey leaks his self-serving CYA memo for the explicit stated purpose of generating movement toward appointment of a Special Counsel and VOILA! we get a Special Counsel who just turns out to be a close friend and confidant of Comey’s.
Special prosecutors/Counsels have a history of empire building, mission creep and extended fishing expeditions and it sure sounds as if this one is gearing up to do just that .
The problem now is if Trump fires Mueller he ignites another firestorm of accusations of obstruction and cover-up and the madness accelerates.
.....”The problem now is if Trump fires Mueller he ignites another firestorm of accusations of obstruction and cover-up and the madness accelerates.”.........
It’s going to accelerate anyway regardless what Trump does or does not do.......it’s moreso the timing if he does decide to let Muller go. He played that very well regarding Comey’s fire.....I suspect he’ll do likewise if it comes to letting Muller go.
