I think as a purely philosophical question God could have whatever opinions or values He chose to have, I mean, who’s going to change His mind?
Our discernment wisdom should be at least approximately up to the challenge of figuring out which proposed values or opinions the actual living God would most likely have.
Personally, I don’t think that creating us in His own image somehow requires that we conceive of a God with both male and female characteristics. It may just be that God is essentially a supernatural version of the male homo sapiens and that He created men and women. Probably “in His image” has more to do with our human spirituality than our outward appearance or biological functioning.
As for God being transgendered, while not ruled out by the basic philosophy outlined, I see no evidence for it or reason for it to be a preferred outcome. Did this happen since 33 A.D., because Jesus speaks of his Father in heaven and didn’t add on “but he’s a cross-dresser” or any other such clues. And Jesus as described in the Gospels seems unambiguously male, unlike some other gods of other religions.
I can’t relate to the transgender paradigm but I don’t think anyone should be actively trying to cause harm to such persons, the only place it really has any relevance in most of our lives is in bathroom design and usage policies in public places and that needs to be sorted out on a logical basis. My rule would be, own a penis, use the M washroom, otherwise use the W washroom. By own a penis, I mean of course having one attached permanently.
