I’m so happy for these countries that they have enough courage and sanity to refuse the muzzie trash. They don’t want to become like London and Paris. Hope tourists who decided NOT to go to Europe (muzzie-held territories) will now decide to go to these countries instead.

Those countries knows what it is to be under a dictatorship, and Muslims are a dictatorship with a terroristic bent.

. Don’t pay. <

You’re right. But I’m guessing the EU will get their money one way or the other. So if the Czechs won’t pay the “fines”, the EU can slap tariffs on Czech goods.

> F’em.<

You’re right again. The Czechs will have to pay a price for their freedom. But it will be worth it. They should tell the EU to go to hell.

Having been to all of those countries, I concur.

And we can add Slovenia and Croatia to the list.

> Czech Interior Minister, Milan Chovanec, had stated that his government would have to decide whether resistance to the EU’s quotas was worth the massive fines such a refusal would incur. <

Has Germany FULLY compensated the Czechs for the 1939 Nazi invasion, and the brutal occupation that followed? I doubt it. The cost must run into the tens of billions of dollars. And that’s before adding the interest.

So the Czechs should just tell the EU to forward any fines to Merkel. Deduct them from the money Germany owes. And the same goes for Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.

Excellent! They need to be able to contril whom they let into their own countries.

After all, Muslim countries do. Silver rule--do unto others as they do unto you.

Yep! A friend of my daughter traveled all through Yugoslavia back in the 80s——and she came home raving about it.

By the way, don’t forget good old Macedonia-——they made Trump win.:-)

Good for them. Reject and crush Islam at every turn. Glad at least some of Europe still has their wits about them.

Yes, but only because they have a lot of experience with tyranny. They lived under Soviet rule. And they see what happens. All philosophies are are political parties.Period.

I went to Warsaw in 2009 and found it to be the least diverse big city that I ever visited. It wasn't until my second day there that I saw someone with a suntan.

Great food in Poland also.

Warsaw’s changed a lot since 2009. It’s still not very diverse, but that’s a good thing.

Not investment advice....

However, why would you get an Intl Mutual Fund / ETF with exposure to China, Russia, and a ton of other places that are risky or do not have real liberty, and now sadly Germany, France, Italy and quite a few others because of this exogenous risk of immigration that is causing a bit more than teething pains? At the same time these Freedom-Titans, are not on anyone's radar screen....

Contrary to the widespread belief here on FR, the United Kingdom also refused to participate in this quota scheme (a little-acknowledged stand taken by the Cameron government). And because the UK isn’t in the Schengen open borders area, but controls its own borders, there was nothing Merkel et al could do to enforce it. Hence the notorious ‘jungle’ camps at Calais etc, of those who had made it across the Europe to the Channel but were blocked at the UK border.
