I would not put that past her since I do not trust her sincerity and her politically correct sort of stances on terrorism with the old “extremism” on the internet argument trotted out, a refusal to rule out tax increases, a plan to take the homes of people with dementia away from them to pay the expenses of their care etc. etc.

Agreed. Even if she did not call this election, I wonder if she would have most likely continued to be that kind of disappointment that she seems to have been ever since taking office.

I don’t believe it is within her power to ignore the referendum, otherwise the Queen has the power to dissolve the parliament. She might just slow walk it though.

The awful exit polls are bogus because they account for early voting by mail which is a large percent .
Second , the conservative districts come in after 930-1000 pm and later .
the early voting results are the small left wing areas.
Just like Brexit .
And the media is not properly reporting the exit polls ...
May is getting exactly what she wanted, an end to Brexit,

There is no good result here. If Theresa May’s people win, Western civilization loses. If Jeremy Corbyn’s people win, Western civilization loses...the collapse would only happen faster.

There has been a non-stop, relentless, over-the-top media campaign to try to convince British voters that their vote on Brexit was a mistake. Sadly, it appears to have worked.
Western Europe is finished. Just pray it doesn't happen here.
Exactly. Theresa May was and is a Remainer, pretending all along to move ahead with Brexit.
The oddity of holding this election speaks volumes.
IMO, the EU Leaders conspired with the Brit Remainers to concoct this odd election, and then manipulated the vote.
And voila! They have now installed Corbyn, a real Commie and EU lover.
