These are weird times.
I wonder about that sometimes. Maybe this sort of rank dishonesty by the press and government is normal, and people just didn't notice it for whatever reason.
These are awesome times as far as political entertainment goes, and as far as the battle between open and closed government rages before our eyes.
I've viewed the so-called "reputable institutions" (Congress, courts, press, education) as failed and corrupt, for decades.
