I'm pondering whether Comey made a material misrepresentation to Grassley, in anothe setting. I don;t know exactly what Grassley's hearing was probing. It matters, because the ramifications of Comey's "I'm not a leaker" response to Grassley depend on context and timing.

My gut reaction is Comey is in the clear, at least under perjury. But I'm questioning my conclusion.

Per Alan Dershowitz, Comey may be in trouble with the tweet/leak timeline. Seems like he may have actually give the memo to his friend for the leak prior to Trump’s tweet.
