James Comey, the former FBI director who was fired by President Trump last month, is expected to tell a Senate committee that the president asked him to back off the investigation into Mike Flynn, a source told The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

The report said Comey could testify as early as next week.

Notice that Comey testified that Trump had the legal and constitutional right to start or stop any FBI investigation that he wanted. Comey testified that NO elements of the government apparatus EVER told him, indicated, or suggested that he stop the Flynn investigation. It never happened. AND if it did Trump was within the constitution and law to do so.

I have two different thoughts on this:

One: Is he there because President Trump fired him and he’s out for blood and using FORMER Comey to do this...

Second: Bharara has been a friend of President Trump for a while, during his business years in New York, and Bharara was in his office at least two times that I know of when he was then President-Elect Trump...did he fire him because he wanted him to be free to investigate behind the scenes different things concerning what had been going on during the campaign, who in his campaign was trying to stab him in the back, also remember Rodgers was there at least twice in Trump Tower to see then President-Elect Trump...

Makes you wonder just what is going on...or could Bharara be there for the Clinton Foundation???

How does that square with earlier claim of only 2? Was earlier claim specific to one on one meetings?
