James Comey, the former FBI director who was fired by President Trump last month, is expected to tell a Senate committee that the president asked him to back off the investigation into Mike Flynn, a source told The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.
The report said Comey could testify as early as next week.

Under that questioning, Comey asserts that he took Trump's remarks as a direct order to cease investigation of Flynn.
Under questioning from Feinstein, Comey says he thinks he was fired because of the Russia investigation, because that is the reason Trump gave.
Just awoke to this live audio on the radio. To my groggy mind it sounds like this is a hearing against the President. Sounds like Comey is the star witness. He sounds like a little boy. And it sounds like he is allowed to be treated with respect and trusted when he fits the infrastructure of being a disgruntled former worker. How is HE the trusted one in this line of questioning and not the President?

Comey takes the President at his word about the firing, but “hope” was an order? Then again, Comey doesn’t know him that well.
now he says he doesn’t know the prez to read him well....yet just earlier he could read him well , that is why he was worried about Trump.

Laura Ingraham has been making the same point whenever she talks about Comey.
Also calls him “prissy” and a “drama queen.”
His released statement (based on his chronological contemporaneous notes) reads like notes for a draft of his memoir.

then later with Feinstien....
“I don’t know the President well enough to read him.”
Contradicts his own testimony within minutes.
Comey: because I'm a weakling.
Enough of the Russian conspiracy theories nothing more than a demoratic distraction of the fact the dems were caught rigging the last election......

He might be wrong...he says that after everything it seems.
Couple of things stand out to me so far.
Comey says the nature of the man (Trump) made him worry Trump would lie to him. This was in reference to his first meeting with Trump in NY.
This shows Comey was biased against Trump to begin with.
Comey also just testified Trump never asked about any other investigations. Yet Comey’s opening statement says Trump had asked about the LEAK investigation.
