Sell the excess electricity to Mexico, to pay off the wall.

Make Democrat donors lobby for the wall, to dip their snouts into the “Green” contracts for solar panels.

Why not nuclear panels? Cheap power AND another incentive to avoid it.

Can you imagine getting to the top of a wall to find red-hot solar panels to be the next hurdle to overcome?

Only if the power is used to run the surveillance system and electrification systems!

They’d get stolen.

Or vandalized. Put any sort of power or communications infrastructure on the wall and it'll have to be protected by razor-wire and fencing on *both* sides.

Given the current state of affairs, the north side fence is probably the more important.

Use the solar panels to power an electric cattle illegal alien fence on each side of the 30 foot tall barrier fence.

It's a renewable energy source so democrats should love it!

Like the Remote Sentry Guns in the Aliens movie!

They are perfect because they were designed to stop aliens.

USE the solar panels to power the lasers that will remove intruders.

Good idea, provided they put a barbed wire on the top of the fence.

Any attempt to damage to wall should be met with deadly force. If someone was at your house, pulling down your carport to steal its wood, what would you do? How about coming on board the U.S.S. America and trying to fly off a AV-8B Harrier? Would bullets fly?

BIG FAIL

... and I am still waiting to hear the big why??

... still waiting ...

... okay, I give up, I do not hear the answer.

THE ANSWER IS, why is a solar panel wall a big fail?

The Border Wall is facing the wrong direction. Mexico is south of the wall. Solar sun comes from the southern sky. The solar panel wall would be facing Mexico, and would be great target practice from Mexico.

It is impossible to move the sun into the northern sky where the wall side is protected by the USA.

Tell President Trump that I am sorry to break the bad news.

* sigh * — Signed Experienced Engineer
