So what is the end game here? I am missing it and am surprised how this happened so quick. Normally, this would be a prelude to war, but the Saudi can’t fight their way out of a paper bag. Attacking Yemen was a disaster politically and militarily.

“So what is the end game here?”

In my opinion, it is a strike against the main source of funding for a lot of the Sunni jihadis and subversives which currently plague the world (including ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, and al Queda). Trump had them sign a commitment to do that during his visit to Saudi Arabia.

If it (Trump) is successful, the level of terrorist attacks will collapse over the next year or two, as the main organizations shut down or contract dramatically.

If the Gulf Arabs reform their Wahabbi religious doctrines and stop teaching this hatred as well, the problem would be fundamentally uprooted - they are the source of the whole movement.

If that were accomplished, Trump would deserve a Nobel Peace Prize, like only one in a generation do (not that the leftist Euroweenie Nobel Committee is likely to ever admit it).

Bottom Line: This big move by the Gulf Arabs is far beyond the kind of assurances (lies) that they have given past administrations - it is a new ball game. Something big seems to be happening.
