My stats came from this poll. Just look at the paltry figures, of those polled, which IS listed in the article!
I have friends ( some of whom are Jewish, some of whom are Christians, and some of whom I have no idea as to what their religion is, because we've never discussed it ) who live in many different states and countries. My "circle" includes a rather wide range....areawise.
From the article linked at #86:
GBA conducted both a national survey and a survey of Jewish voters in the battleground state of Florida. The national survey results were based on responses of 731 self-identified Jewish voters, with a 3.6 percent margin of error. The Florida survey results were based on responses of 500 self-identified Jews with a 4.4 percent margin of error.Several hundred responses may seem "paltry", but the number is very likely to be higher than your personal sample size of your circle of friends and acquaintances. It is big enough to justifiably come to the conclusion that even Conservative Jews tend to vote Dem, contrary to your earlier assertion.
Do YOU have any contrary polls you can link to? Other than anecdotal data about your circle of friends and acquaintances?
