and you can make up stuff by just saying you have a source, or use a source so lacking in credibility and you know it but the story pushes an agenda you run with it.
Yes. There are many reasons for this hunch, including that Trump and team are too smart for real or false information “leaks” to happen for so long.
Another: the media-types are lazy. Much easier and fun it is to write these fictions that align with the anti-Trump narrative.
Also, there is no accountability whatsoever. They cannot be checked.

Agree. This is phony. They are putting emotions into his private day. I’m sure they would write about Sean Hannity crying on the floor of his bathroom wearing only boxer shorts all weekend too. NYT is Pure Agenda, not information with any relation to truth.
