Golfer Tiger Woods has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Florida.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's office said Woods was booked into a county prison at around 7am local time on Monday.
The 41-year-old was arrested in the town of Jupiter and then released just before 11am, prison records show.
Woods' representatives have yet to comment.
The 14-time major champion, who had his fourth major back surgery in April, said last week he felt better than he had in years and had no plans to retire from competitive golf.

This is an incredibly talented golfer who was steered into that career when he was a child by his father. His body has obviously broken down, his career appears to be over, and he’s obviously got deep emotional problems which have cost him his marriage. Despite all of his accomplishments in golf, where he is easily one of the top players of all time, you have to wonder if he wouldn’t have been happier and more well-adjusted living an ordinary life, without a stage-parent trying to live through his accomplishments.

This guy has had so many operations he is an ongoing medical experiment. Probably Tiger is in the dumps because his glory days are far behind him so......get drunk. Nothing wrong with getting drunk once in a while but if you venture out on the roads you might get caught.

Well, he's only worth about $740 million and only has an annual income of around $60 million, so I would imagine he's on a very tight budget.
Since he had back surgery last month, he probably does have a prescription for various pain killers. Don't know if that will help his case or not... he still might have to buy a yacht for the judge and buy a drug treatment facility to "treat" him for a few months to satisfy his probation.
Had to wait for his lawyer to sober up and come in and bail him out.
