You’re missing the point: why does ANY Republican have even ONE Dem staffer?I'm not really missing it - it goes without saying that NO Republican should have a Dem staffer. I just was thinking more about getting rid of them.

My guess its idiots like a$$hole Boner and then Ryan who allowed this to happen. If I were Speaker I would clean house (not knowing what the firing laws are) and get “conservative” staff for the GOP Congress Critters. But they didn't.
