Sorry. But true peace will come to the region only when the Islamic world is transformed and is able to respond rationally and effectively to the ongoing challenge of Western modernity. Traditional Islamic culture is simply not compatible with the practices, institutions and values that constitute Western modernity. Hence the violent instability and migrations. Also peace will only come to Israel itself when either the Palestinians or the Israelis cease to be a definable political entity. They both covet the same land. Neither can make a real concession to the other without denying the rational of their own existence.
Actually only the Israelis covet the land - on the elimination of Israel and the Jewish problem, all the muslims will do as they have in the past - leave, returning to their countries of origin, and the territory formerly known as Israel will return to its historic state - desert where goat herding a the major industry.
