This is very interesting since the bar he was at closed at 1:30 and he was reportedly shot at some time after 4:00.I have always wondered about the time differences. This actually makes very good sense.
The Fentanyl and Propofol would have been used for his pain after being shot.
If the CIA was involved, Versed/Midazolam iv and a scopolamine patch would have probably been used to find out what Rich had done and had planned to do.
That combo would cause the toughest spec op guys to tell everything. You probably couldn’t shut them up after putting the scop patch and then giving them Versed via a slow drip iv,
Do a Google search on: scopolamine patch used by CIA.
Then, after getting the info from Rich, they increase the Midazolam in the iv drip until he stopped breathing. Then remove the scop patch and the iv needle. Neither drug would show up in most drug assays as they are not normal street drugs. The Fentanyl and Propofol would show up in standard drug testing.

That would explain the missing hours between leaving the bar and being found.

“Rich was rushed to the hospital where minor “maintenance” surgery was performed and he was termed stable. A fourth year surgeon at the hospital sent an e-mail that made the rounds.He did not know at the time the patient was Seth Rich.”
It would be interesting to see the timestamp on the original email from that 4th year surgeon.
