I wonder how a pothead defender would react to an alcoholic defending whiskey with the same verve.

>>I wonder how a pothead defender would react to an alcoholic defending whiskey with the same verve. Here in Colorado it's quite educational to observe the milk and whiskey drinking alcoholics and the pot heads defending each other... as they munch on their apples whilst sleeping in the beds of the farmhouse... WIF SHEETS!
Oligarchic Codependency is so awesome!

False. 44% of Americans have used marijuana, but only 9.2% have in the past year used any other illicit drug (and almost all of them were misusing prescription drugs). I wonder how a pothead defender would react to an alcoholic defending whiskey with the same verve.
If you think quoting statistics is "verve" I'd hate to see you when you were feeling lethargic.
To address your scenario: If false statements are made about alcohol, pot, or any other drug, they should be corrected; truth matters.
