Yes, they are different, completely different. If you go to the original Reddit thread, it links to one of the Wikileaks email attachments which are the same as one of Guccifer 2.0’s docs by content but totally different by metadata.
Warren Flood had nothing to do with the DNC emails at the time they were authored (his LinkedIn profile can be easily googled online; the author states he cannot link to Warren’s info due to site anti-doxxing rules); he appears to have been brought into solely to implant the Russian metadata.

Additionally, they may have realized that the emails were removed and copied and could be released. After all they had the worse security in the world. So the Guccifer2 op was a false flag operation designed to thwart the future potential release and frame the russkies. When they figured out who got the emails, an assasination was made on Seth. Now all they had to deal with was Assange, until Kim Dot Com showed up. Dont forget that the anti Russian phobia was carried out here by deep state operatives who tried to get certain freepers banned. That was well before the email situation.

Whoever hacked/obtained the DNC emails wanted to put a Russian signature on it. If Seth Rich was the source someone associated with wikileaks may have done this to try to protect him.
Or the whole operation could have come from a patriotic US intelligence insider.
