It matters because gloating by the media and weakening of trump if the pub loses would matter. Trump wants this so we should. It has nothing to do with what the GOP has or hasn’t done. For the first time we have a non quitter in the WH. He insulted those elitist punks in Europe to their faces today! Gotta support that
For all its faults, NY Times does have a very good election website. Rather than be disgusted by the networks (I couldn’t get Fox Business with Lou Dobbs’ coverage in my hotel), I read the NYT website - it was clear by 10:30 that Trump was going to win - they had an indicator that gave percentages and by that time he was up to 90 percent chance of winning.
SLAM the opposition, Greg!!! ;)
Thanks for the clarification. Luckily the lead is widening.
Greg Gianforte Rep. 93,411 48.1%
Rob Quist Dem. 89,375 46.1
Mark Wicks Lib. 11,291 5.8
25% reporting (173 of 681 precincts)
Or a Bloomington of Indiana
Great Chinese food there though!
Sounds good- one minor note... what the MT SOS says is the gospel. Good for the Decision Desk to get out in front with their PREDICTION of votes CAST... not COUNTED which = KNOWN! They don’t know the results anymore than you or I do. Peace. Out!

Just over an hour in and 200K votes have been cast. Very impressive speed, Montana. Gianforte’s situation continues to look good, but much of the election day votes is still out.
[Luckily the lead is widening.]
There’s no such thing as luck. :)
The candidate who finishes first is elected. No run-off. Don’t need 50 percent. (A requirement for a run-off would help us in this state since the Littletarian often plays the role of spoiler.)
Prefer the Irish Lion
I don’t expect Gianforte to lose, last minute attempts by the Demmedia machine to destroy him not withstanding.
Thanks!
All of the Dem Strongholds have been counted?

Our map is filling in nicely. Gianforte is running 4-5% ahead of his numbers in the Governor’s race last year.
Missoula is or was a unionized mining town, but I don’t know if that is still their predominant economic situation.
That’s Fightin’ Greg Gianforte. And smile when say it.
