I always liked to LISTEN to Opera Highlights, but with the advent of live subtitles at the performances, and DVDs, they have taken on a whole other dimension for me.

"Russalka" is Dvorak's version of "The Little Mermaid," which he works up as a tragedy, not a comedy. I saw a beautiful production of it in 1991 in Seattle.
