If I had a nickle for all the times I have seen “Cajun” food outside of Louisiana. One menu even offered “Black and Red Fish”, apparently confused about the actual dish known as blackened red fish. Yet you won’t see me complaining about my culture being mis-appropriated.

“Black and Red Fish” lol!

Good thing I didn’t see that error, sometimes, I will compulsively (but respectfully) inform the writer of their mistake. I used to just blurt it out, “Who wrote this??” as I’ve aged, I have learned some people do not want to be ‘corrected’ at all!

My favorite is Jambalaya - often described on menus as "served over rice pilaf". Non!

I just imagine Justin Wilson shaking his head in dismay - and turn to another part of the menu.

Restaurants come and go depending on the quality and desirability of their food. All of this is just PC BS better known as the crisis of the day.
