"I bet [the cop] feels not a moments remorse over this. I bet none of those involved do." Too cynical by half. I bet the cop feels horrible about this; and so do all of those involved. It would haunt any normal person, and normally cops are normal people, and normally act normally.

You believe what you want. I don’t believe they have a moment’s remorse. They are probably commiserating with each other and providing support to each other so they don’t have to feel any remorse.
