I am not exactly sure what the pope thinks he accomplished by appearing so negative. In the night (EDT) immediately after the visit was concluded, the only picture I saw over and over showed the seated pope speaking to the seated president across a big desk. It looked like a school principal with a student he had called to his office. I don’t recall ever seeing such a picture of a pope with a visiting dignitary before. At least there are some other pictures.
What do you expect? This pope is a socialist and muzzie apologist. Trump is one of his arch enemies, in his mind probably more so than Satan.
