I don’t believe Melania has ever mentioned being Catholic. She is sometimes said to be Catholic just based on being from Slovenia. Her father’s Communist Party membership is probably and indication that there wasn’t much religious upbringing. She and Donald were married by an Episcopalian.

Melania’s home country, Slovenia, like most of those Eastern bloc countries, are influenced by Catholicism.
