You are dam lucky! not to many people are know to have survived full blown rabbies and they are severely disabled.
At the time, I had on high, thick, rubber boots -- and the 'coon never bit above my ankles. I was never exposed to rabies. During the attack, I wasn't sure whether the varmint was suffering from rabies -- or distemper. That's why I didn't do a head shot -- and reported the incident to the PD...
