So the most popular “Democrat” campaigner is not even a real registered Democrat. Kinda like needing a half-white guy to be the first black president. Whatever happened to the party of Thomas Jefferson?
So says the Socialist Charlatan”Independent” who apologized for and endorsed the Corrupt Clinton, IN SPITE of her being rubber stamped by the Dim Elite . . .
Then quietly walked away with a $600k vacation home
As phony as the rest of them. Wake up Millenials . .
Watch out Montana...do not let the rats run anything...
unless you want to become another Colorado
There is no Democrat that rouses the base so they have to send Bernie out to do it. Their party is in so much trouble heading into the midterms in ‘18 and the next presidential election in ‘20.
A socialist with a Brooklyn accent is going to do well in Montana. /sarc
Where’s Hillary?
Ladies and Gentleman let me introduce, the LEGEND, the HOPE, the ONE. AND. ONLY. Balless Senator from VERMONT...
Berrrrrrnieeee SAN. DERS.
Bernie got the house.
Quist has had 3 liens on his property because he failed to pay taxes. He’s campaigning here about Montana values. Oh, yeah? I pay my taxes and cannot possibly value a congressman who avoids paying them.
The story is set on the campus of the U. of Montana in Missoula, of course. Probably the only place Quist could draw the reported crowd of 500 when the doors opened, even with Bernie at his side. Some draw.
BTW, having Bernie at your side is not a good political move in this state.
Hard to believe that democrats themselves aren't far enough to the left and bat-poop crazy enough to bring the vote in, but Bernie is the proof!
Good. The Great State of Montana needs to be solidly Red . . Forever
How is the dem position on gun control playing in Montana?
Montana? Revolution? Bernie Sanders, bless his heart, would like to put Montana back in a box where they could be “reliably” Democrat, but those sheepherders and cowboys can be kind of mercurial.
Besides, it gets COLD in Montana. Hard to keep a revolution going when dressed in parkas and Carhartt boots.
The elections in Montana are decided in the one “big” city. It’s the same way in the small NE states. I’ve met some very conservative people in small town Vermont and Rhode Island. But the liberal capitals have the majority of the vote.
Last poll I read had Gianforte up 6? Is that about what you are hearing up there? I wonder if the good folks of Montana know that Quist is a gun-grabber? GOA warned about him a couple months ago...
‘Couldn’t line up the entertainment necessary for her to make a personal appearance.
Good graphic. All of these idiots believe communism is wonderful, problem was, in Russia it was run by the wrong people.
Republican U.S. House candidate Greg Gianforte picked up the endorsements of three of Montanas largest newspapers over the weekend.
The Missoulian, the Helena Independent Record, and the Billings Gazette all endorsed Gianforte over Democrat Rob Quist in the race to fill the states open seat in congress.
The endorsements published in the Sunday edition of the newspapers announced the support of Gianforte, but with some reservations.
"What we saw in these endorsements of the editorial boards was as much a lack of confidence in Quist's ability to do the job as it was an endorsement of Gianforte," says Rob Saldin, a political science professor at the University of Montana.
The newspaper editorial boards expressed doubt in Quist's knowledge of policy and his ability to be more than a Democratic placeholder in congress.
Of course a lack of political experience is there on the Gianforte side as well. The editorial boards just saw Quist as an especially weak candidate. That was especially evident in the Billings Gazette endorsement of Gianforte," Saldin says.
The Billings Gazette wrote that it had "serious concerns about out many of Gianfortes positions on important topics," but that we dont have a clue where Quist stands on most issues, and his criticism of Gianforte seems to be either confused or completely without merit."
Bozeman Chronicle copped out and didn't endorse. At least they wrote, " You dont have to be a millionaire to serve in Congress; you do have to pay your taxes."
Don't see the race as close as 6 bc of polls always leaning Dem. Then again we always have a Libertarian to siphon votes from the GOP.
