Folks need to understand that the trend now is modesty.....higher necklines are now Vogue.
However..... with Melania it must be noted that she often draws her ‘color choices’ from the nation she is visiting or hosting....Melania is speaking politically through her style and color choices....
Her black pants suit represented the black burqa with a huge fashion twist...a statement of what it could be.......the gold belt , intersting enough, was the female version of the Saudi Royal Guards sword and holder...of which Trump actually was drawn to when he saw the guards and made it known he was impressed.
Her Fusia gown’s color is very popular in Saudi..but it had a Royal affect Melania certainly pulled off.
And I will repeat In the ME culture, (and asia as well) the physical attractiveness of the wife is ‘a big measure of the man’s status’.......

Perhaps they are ugly to you, but they are nothing new! Styles run in cycles and simply have different names. I wore what you would call a boob belt in the early 1950’s, like most girls, but nobody would have been so crude or rude to label the wide belt a “boob belt” at the time. Crass and crude is today’s requirement for most anything.
