To: Oldeconomybuyer

I would vote for this only if they would have no representation in Congress and couldn’t vote for president. I don’t want them to be independent AND have a say so in our national affairs. That’s having the cake and eating it too. It would be like Scotland in the UK.

If they can do it then every state can do it, that means no more oppressive Obamacare, ATF, EPA, high taxes, Department of Education, ect... Basically every unconstitutional intrusion we hate about Washington D.C. gone.

With free states the socialist world California creates will collapse on its face as all the people who actually want to work and live in freedom leave.
Socialism can’t elusive without some kind of wall to force the productive to stick around and support the ever larger portion of the population that is gaming the system as lazy welfare bums.
