Since President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday, the media have been in an uproar with conspiratorial claims that the Russia investigation was the cause. On CNN Sunday morning, serial plagiarist Fareed Zakaria kicked off his show by declaring that there was only one group that could defend America from Trump: The Media. “Donald Trump in much of his rhetoric and many of his actions poses a danger to American democracy,” he announced. “Our task is, quite simply, to keep alive the spirit of American democracy.”
He started off his opening monologue by claiming that “As regular viewers know, I have tried to evaluate Donald Trump's presidency fairly.” He complemented Trump on selected some capable people for “high office,” but followed that up with a dire warning. “But there has always been another aspect to this presidency lurking beneath the surface, sometimes erupting into full view as it did this week,” he added. “Donald Trump in much of his rhetoric and many of his actions poses a danger to American democracy.”

So let’s see if I got this right.
1. Russia’s cyber attack had the aim to disrupt our country by making voters question the legitimacy of our election.
2. The media is basically helping them achieve that objective.
3. So when Russians are involved it’s destructive, but when the media does it, it’s our salvation?

GWB was one always talking about “our democracy” too.
I think I see what they’re doing. They couldn’t defeat Trump and they know they can’t impeach him and that he’ll probably get re-elected in 2020 against Pocohauntas and Bernie.
So they’re going to try to stop his agenda by winning control of the House or more likely the Senate in 2018. To do this they figure they only have to flip a couple of states and there’s probably enough Trump-haters and LIV morons in a few states that will vote for the Democrat if they’re convinced Trump is Hitler/Satan/Putin and must be stopped.
CNN is a danger to Democracy because they are killing their own function as a watchdog for Democracy. By being a purveyor of fakenews, editorial as news and news as entertainment, they are undermining the purpose of what the principle of free speech was meant to be. And, the purpose of CNN’s efforts is for Marxism, which is a far cry from Democracy. They are part of the swamp and alligators that our Founders fought to make America a great nation for freedom.
If CNN cannot fulfill their mission, it is time they sell their company to someone who can—before they go into bankruptcy.
Trump’s a danger to globalization aND they are scared.
Unfortunately for most Americans, the task of CNN is to replace American democracy with communism. The mainstream media are in league with a vast left wing conspiracy to replace our Constitution and way of life.
The dark things that CNN does is far from keeping alive the spirit of American democracy. Most people can see through their lies and false narratives.

well, if that actually WERE the case, then they’ve blown it because no one but Progs/Dems pay a bit of attention to the enemdia any longer because 100% of their output is a negative anti-Trump rant of lies and rumors they label “sources”.
Perhaps if they said one or two nice things about a few of the many positive things President Trump is accomplishing, they MIGHT have a tiny bit more credibility. But fortunately the enemedia is too deranged to figure that out.
As a consequence, nearly every one tunes them out because we already know what they are going to say, namely, “Today President Trump did really, really, really bad stuff and said really, really, bad things. He’s a dangerous dictator and should be impeached, investigated, tarred and feathered, run out on a rail, chopped to bits, burned at the stake, yada, yada, yada.”
