“This means they are using drug laws like any other to get rid of illegals-yes, DREAMERS. Also is another fiscal hammer vs sanctuary cities.”
Well, that sounds good.
I grew up in an era when a person in Texas got 99 years for a single seed, so I have something of a jaundiced eye.
I am of the opinion that the resources expended on enforcing MJ laws should be spent on fighting hard drugs.
Personally, I haven’t done weed in 35-40 years, only once did I even do coke-—at the insistence of my band members to ‘get a record deal’ with an A&R man.
So I have great sympathy for potheads who just use it to relax, and especially for medical marijuana. I know people in great pain who need this. On the other hand, yes, you can get addicted to pot. I’ve seen two people like this in my life-—couldn’t walk across a street without a joint, liked to constantly roll and sniff it.
Ordinarily, I’d think our resources can be better used, but if I’m right and this is really a stealth deportation of Dreamers, I’m all for it. We can relax the laws when the country is safe.
