It's not like Macron is going to be any worse than Hollande.
I guess not.
If the UK and France leave the EU, it becomes a German operation. Then the Russians get drawn in to counter German influence. And different countries with grudges against each other line up with either the Germans or the Russians.
So, no surprise -- the French don't want to leave the EU. Plus, too protectionist a policy would hurt their economy, so its understandable that they stuck with the status quo.
With the Macron vote France has given Germany what it has wanted since the earliest days of the Holy Roman Empire - German control of France. This time no war not even a cross word, no rampaging knights, soldiers or panzers. All done via currency controls. If that was the only issue well at least the conquerors are European and can appreciate the culture & charms of France. Unfortunately this conquest comes with a blindness, a willful disregard to Europe's culture & traditions coupled with insanity. The insane notion that these Middle Easterners & 3rd Worlders (Mostly young military age men, a dangerous brew!) will be happy being the new peasant servile class. A class so deliriously happy about being in Europe that they joyfully clean the toilets, gutters, streets and grease traps of the coffee shops & salons of Europe.
